Immersed in colors, in the state of Rajasthan, I soon realized that a lot of traditional Indian art, while very colorful has a limited palette. Reds, golds, greens, yellows dominate the paintings. Many are limited to primary colors and the result is exquisite. This year I indulged in painting two scenes from India. The first was "walk of determination" and the second "meditation river". Both paintings were executed before my trip. Looking back at "Walk of Determination" I realize now how subconsciously I painted it in reds yellows and greens. Looking forward to making works in primary colors and limited palettes.
